JOBE- THE RID PILL EP

“We are back again for another installment of electronic dancefloor weaponry from RW HQ!

Always searching for freshness we have a combination of 2 artists to (excuse the promo cliche!) seriously watch out for… We are excited to have on board the very talented Mr Simon Jobe aka JOBE (Kompact/Akbal/Electronique) who has quite a penchant for knocking out killer cutz. The Red Pill has the sort of bass line that will warp your dongle like a danish pastry baked by TRAX Records! Backed up by the tech infused infectious Switched Off.

We have the mighty Brazilian electronic genius of Nytron (Tropical Beats) on remix duties supplying a remix that sounds like DirtyBird getting jiggy with Joy O while running around naked at the Rio Carnival.” – RUNNIN WILD MUSIC

We hope you enjoy.

SISHI ROSCH- KILLA BOOTY EP

“Desaturating classic West Coast hip-hop tropes and chemically altering them for UV and laser lit club play, Sishi Rosch’s ‘Killa Booty EP’ is straight (house) gangster”. – Joe Roberts (DJ Mag)

Get ready for another aural onslaught from the infallible Digital Delight stable, this time around it’s label boss Sishi Rosch who drops a lethal concoction of bouncing beats and bass, full of ghetto energy and irresistible house flavours. Sishi is already a renowned producer with releases on No.19, Get Physical, Get The Curse and many more besides – known for his tough, no-nonsense approach to music production, he returns with four hot new tracks that are sure to cause a Ruckus In The Ghetto.

Kicking off with the aptly-titled Compton’88 (an ode to Sishi’s first musical love – nineties west coast hip hop), the EP is off to a flying start. Punchy beats collide with a dubby bassline, crisp snares and Sishi’s trademark pitched-down use of vocals – the energy builds and builds into a crescendo at which point a melodramatic ‘west coast’ style synth line joins the fray. Ghetto Bunny Booty works off a very traditional hip-hop break, perfect for sucking you into its groove – soon it’s joined by a slightly muted bassline… as the track progresses an animal-esque noise repeats over and over,
while melancholy chimes echo above it. We then get a steamy workout with I’ll House Your Body – a kind of ode to house music of years gone by, the traditional 4×4 percussion supports an infectious bassline with warped vocals and a siren-like bleep lurking in the background, soon it’s joined by intermittent synth lines which work up the energy and tension perfectly. Finally, Killa Booty ups the ante yet more with a faster pace, some classic hip-hop style sound effects and a hypnotic flow that’s guaranteed to devastate dance-floors wherever it’s played.

Once again Digital Delight come correct with an EP that oozes appeal and ghetto sleaze. Just make sure you up your butt-crunch game because these tracks will work your booty like no others!
