NU TALENT: SYAZWAN HAZIQ
Syazwan Haziq started his DJ career in early 2011 after discovering electronic music in high school and immediately taking a deep and fullfiling interest in it. He then made the initiative to take a step forward exploring the fundamentals and techniques of creating music. After years of hard work on productions and promotional material, he released a 2 track EP under local label Dalam Muzika on Beatport – “Gelek Gelek” and “Rythm Of Jungla”. The vibe and feel of his tracks flirts and incorporates with various elements and sounds made known in tech house, the groovier side of techno, unmistakable tribal tech house and also is not ashamed to show the darker side of his talent but as of late, Syazwan has seen to take a plunge in the deep house territory and even there he’s getting the formulas right.
A producer and a remixer, he has produced tracks with international producers such as Jay Peq, Angie Dibujos, Ara Coiset, David Sichinawa and our local DJ/Producer DJ Hightech and Nicky C. He cites his main influences as Booka Shade and Sebastien Leger and is always improving himself and adapting new techniques to enhance future performances.
